The Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices (RQF) is for learners who currently or wish to maintain the quality of assessment from within an organisation or assessment centres. During the course you will learn the principles and practices of internal quality assurance and how to apply these to internally quality assure the quality of assessment.
Modules
To achieve the Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices (RQF) learners will need to complete 2 mandatory units achieving a total of 12 credits.
Understanding the principles and practices of internally assuring the quality of
assessment is a knowledge-based unit which requires learners to complete a number of written assignments.
Internally assure the quality of assessment is a practical assessment unit, within this unit you will be required to carry out internal quality assurance assessor within your field of competency.

Must be 19 and over.
How you will be assessed
Your knowledge and understanding will be assessed using the assessment methods. Where possible your assessor will integrate knowledge outcomes into practical observations through oral questioning.
